QUESTION: IS STILTS ALLOWED IN GURGAON RESIDENTIAL SECTORS?
Yes, HUDA allowed stilts in residential Sectors and DTP approved Residential colonies. Stilts is allowed only in bigger plots more than 4 marla category in HUDA sector. The minimum plot size in sqmtr. is defined in control area. Good Architects can plan stilts to occupy maximum nos. of cars in stilts.
Question: What are the standard size of various plots category in Gurgaon's HUDA sectors and Gurgaon's private plotted colonies?
HUDA sector offers right from 4 marla to 20 marla plots. In other words from 60 sqyds to 500 sqyds plots.
Question : What are the things one should take care before taking possession from developer?
Its better to hire a architect to make the snag list, which can be handed over to developer before taking possession.

An architect which is registered with Council of architect and has licenses of COA can practice as an architect in Gurgaon. To work in HUDA sectors an architect needs to get renewal of license every year.
Question: What things architects need to file a completion from client side?
Architect needs copies of followings:
1. Ownership documents like reallotment / sale deed etc.
2. Possession certificate.
3. NOC from neighbors (if any common wall.)
4. DPC certificate.
5. Pictures of house as per requirement.
6. Approval letter of building plan sanctioned.
7. Approved Map copy.
Question: I need a contractor. What kinds of contractor one can get to make a house building in Gurgaon?
Two types of contractor for civil work i.e. labor contractor and with material contractor. Architect coordinates with contractor and supervise the construction. Architects also provide with material construction.
Question: How to check quality of the construction work?
Architects basically supervise and check these and also let the contractors understand the exact methodology to construct.
